Real Staffing are supporting an NHS Trust on the South Coast which need an Income Accountant to provide immediate support to an understaffed area of the finance team for an initial period of 3 months (with the potential to continue until the end of the financial year).
The Income Accountant will support the Head of Income & Costing in delivering key submissions during a busy period of the financial calendar.
The primary duties and responsibilities of this post will include:
- Calculating and reporting on trust income/expenditure
- Variance analysis
- Month end accounts closure
- Analysis and reporting on the trusts income position
- Reconciliation of control accounts
- Budget reporting
- Running preset SQL scripts
- Supporting Reference Costing, SLR and PLICs
- Ad-hoc assignments
Essential Skills:
- NHS Acute Trust experience
- Part-qualified accountant
- Operate at band 6/7 level
- Knowledge of NHS acute HRG and PbR policies
- Income or Costing Accountant
