Due to continued requirements, this leading supplier of vehicle information systems to major automotive customers is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to develop software functionality for an instrument pack and the principal driver information instrument. Key Skills Embedded C, Embedded C++, CAN, CANoe, 16/32bit Micro-controllers, VB

As the Embedded Software Engineer you'll be working within the Software Development Team and reporting to Software Team Leaders.

Your role will include but not be limited to:

*Capture and interpretation of customer specification
*High level design & Functional design and Coding
*Creation and adaptation of pre-existing module tests and Module Testing
*Integration
*Creation of software quality artefact's
*Basic hardware/software interaction debug is sometimes necessary

As the Embedded Software Engineer, you will demonstrate experience of:

*Using Embedded C, or Embedded C++.
*Automotive Protocols CAN
*Using tools such as CANoe
*'Low-level' software for Embedded applications, ideally for 16/32-bit micro-controllers
*Visual Basic
*Excellent Communication Skills
*A degree or equivalent in Computer Science or relevant Engineering discipline.

Desirable Skills:

*Familiarity with Fujitsu Micro-controllers
*Display technologies including LCD, LED, TFT and stepper motor drivers
*Previous experience of MKS, Mantis and Subversion
