Description
A skilled and experienced Network Architect is required for an (initial) 2 month project based in Brussels, Belgium. Our client is a renowned IT outsourcer and the successful candidate will be required join up with an existing team ASAP (Monday ideally).
The role will involve working as part of a Project Bid team, with the successful candidate being asked to provide specialist knowledge and expertise on a variety of aspects covering Network Infrastructure Architecture from low level Cables, and Racks etc, to high level Infrastructure Design, kit selection/costing of Switches, Routers, Hubs, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, UDP etc etc. As an Architect, it would be expected that candidates will have a broad knowledge across multiple technologies areas (Cisco, Juniper etc).
Candidates will be UK home based, but are likely to be required to work in Brussels for most of the contract.
