Emagine is seeking a Senior Tester for our client, the world's leading Travel Software Company. The client has a complex transactions based billing system and their Billing team collect business requirements, deliver automated solutions and run month-end billing activities. The purpose of this role is to provide quality testing services.
Deliverables, main activities and accountabilities:
Define objectives and targets for the test team.
Establish test processes, templates the working credentials of the test team.
To promote the test team within the clients IT functions.
Manage the test analysts - Ensure a consistent and high quality level of test completion
Devise a set of best practices for the testing function.
Review test scenarios provided by Functional Analysts
Review requirements for the testing of fixes delivered.
Own the environment used for testing, ensuring its integrity at all times.
Conduct research into test tools and testing techniques used in the IT.
To advise on the pros and cons of a range of test tools.
Skills and competencies:
At least 10 years continued testing roles including 5 as a test lead.
Demonstrable evidence of managing testers on the testing of major IT initiatives
A broad experience with a variety of testing tools such as Quality Center
Knowledge of the IT and Travel industry
Deep knowledge of Unix
SAP knowledge would be a plus
University degree
Fluent in written and spoken English
