One of our clients, a multinational company in the pharmaceuticalindustry, requires a Continuous Improvement Mentor.

She/he will act as a catalyst of change in Research and Development, raise deviation content and allow continuous improvement.

Start: End of August
Length of the mission: 4 months
Location: South of Brussels

MISSION PURPOSE:

* Be an instrumental part of executing the strategic initiative on"Deviation Improvement Program" in R&D.
The objective is to raise deviation content in order to ensure ad-hocunplanned event evaluation, handling, mitigation and allow continuousimprovements.

* To be a mentor to teams involved in the "Deviation ImprovementProgram" in order to develop their skills and competencies (both for QAand business partners)
and raise them to expert level to deliver deviations of high beneficefor R&D and the supply chain.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Acts as a "catalyst of change" throughout the project. Deploy andembed new way of working on the ground. Mentor right behaviour anddevelop accountability on the shopfloor.
Facilitate and promote synergy between teams (business, QA, experts)during deviation process.

* Act as a mentor and coach to teams - in particular deviation team,leader and QA - to build capability and help develop a continuousimprovement mindset.

* Challenge the deviation content and the deviation team in a mannerthat helps the team members in issue analysis, problem-solving, fosterconsistent story (deviation content) and continuous improvement.
* Diagnose objectively the current state of maturity of the deviationprocess by evaluating the level of qualification and weaknesses ofpeople involved in the process, and propose solutions to stretch theorganization.

* Leverage experienced people to use their knowledge & experienceto improve the level of competencies of new comers and juniorcolleagues in order to ensure permanent and sustainability of theknowledge transfer in the R&D/QA organization.

* Consolidate knowledge and make it available to others through thedeviation project team.

KEY DELIVERABLES:

* More engagement of people in the deviation process, including better understanding on the ground of the benefices of this process.

* Clear improvement noted in deviation content and deviation handling lead-time during the period.

* Synergy between teams recognized as a way of working in the deviation process.

* Sustainable development of targeted people involved in the deviation process.

MENTOR'S PROFILE:

* Min. 15 years pharma/bio experience

* Strong Quality Assurance/regulated experience applied to Healthcare environments.

* Mentoring & coaching capabilities, engaging and communicativepersonality.

* Achiever, action oriented as immediate impact is expected.

* Willing to work on the shop floor to transmit their experience

* High negotiation, diplomacy and influencing skills to interact withpeople

* Team worker as most of its results depend on shop floor engagement.

* R&D experience is a plus

* Mentor should be Fluent  French speaking, with good English speaking.
