Description
A large-scale medical device company inMinnesotais in search of a Software Engineer to work directly with the technical support and production teams to ensure successful introduction of new products and changes to the current product line. This 12 month contract opportunity is offering $50.00-$60.00 per hour.The Software Engineer will be engaged in designing and implementing graphical user interfaces.
The position responsibilities include the following actions:
- Design, prototype, test, maintain engineering documents, and maintain and support Image Processing Software
- Utilize agile development techniques to deliver high quality software
- Involvement in test processes such as test automation, developing test plans, test case development and other engineering best practices
The most excellent candidate will have the following background:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree, MS degree preferred
- 5 + years of Software Engineering experience, medical device experience preferred
- Experience in managing software-translations and user manuals
- Prior experience in a regulated environment, i.e. FDA
