FINANCE MANAGER - ICAAP - AVP
FINANCE, ICAAP, ACCA, CIMA, BASEL II, INSURANCE, INVESTMENT,
With offices throughout Continental Europe, Ireland and the UK, my client offers local investors a complete range of financial services across the investment spectrum, including investment servicing, investment research and trading and investment management.
This role takes responsibility for the implementation and governance of the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment process (ICAAP) and Solvency II Own Risk Self-Assessment (ORSA) process.
Working closely with Risk to implement the Basel II ICAAP and ORSA Project Plan through a series of workshops and UK Executive Committee and Board challenge sessions.
You'll provide regular ICAAP updates to the Board and support new business and product initiatives and work closely with internal management and external advisors to embed ICAAP and Solvency II processes, managing deliverables, milestones, risks, issues and successes.
With solid experience gained within Financial Services, with an ICAAP/regulatory focus, you'll be qualified to ACCA/CIMA or equivalent. Advanced knowledge of Basel II is essential together with understanding of regulations affecting banks, knowledge of investment types and products and the ability to apply technical understanding to real world business events/transactions.
Degree qualified, you'll have an excellent analytical ability, a high degree of numeracy and excellent communication/presentation skills.
