SAP SECURITES AND AUTHORISATIONS CONSULTANT - BRISTOL - PERMANENT £40,000 PLUS BENEFITSKey Responsibilities
*Work with the Business to gather requirements and define Business roles.
*Act as "best practice" advisor/lead within our client.
*Work with functional consultants, BASIS and Service Desk teams to design, build and maintain the roles and authorisations model
*Manage user account administration by developing a simple and consistent approach
*Manage security requests in accordance to Segregation of Duties (SoD) requirements and to company defined standards and procedures
*Provide reports for key business personnel for internal/external audit compliance
*Help facilitate and provide necessary information for external auditors
*Work with our client and external auditors to ensure compliance with all relevant audit requirements.
*SAP Licence administration, reporting and audit
*Develop, document and communicate SAP Security policies and procedures, standards and guidelines for SAP
*User administration to ensure access is controlled based on defined functional/composite roles
*Provide 1st line security support for SAP Landscape.
*Manage and audit the SAP security model to ensure compliance with best practice.
*Document and maintain relevant information for the security design, system configuration and support processes.
*Identify areas for improvement.Recommend solutions based on a technical analysis of business requirements.
*Liaise with in-house and external ABAP/XI/BI development and production support teams to ensure the roles and authorisation model meets technical requirements.
*Contribute to IT service continuity plans and ensure user access requirements are incorporated.
*Evaluation of potential solution providers, recommending preferred supplier.
*Evaluate relevant change control requests for impact.
*Act as a specialist within the SAP BAU support team.
*Any other task as required.
