The opportunity has arisen to join an industry leader in efficient and clean energy technology for the global consumer electronics, automotive and stationary power markets as a systems engineer.
The role:
As Systems Engineer you will be responsible for designing innovative system solutions to support the power system design area of the business, with the design and development of controls systems for power supply units. As a key member of the systems team, the systems engineer will have technical responsibility for assigned work packages, through his/her manager, to assure the system meets its performance requirements through analysis and test, and satisfies the appropriate customer and business requirements.
Working with high level systems architecture, the Systems Engineer will be responsible for producing systems level and component level requirements for the control system of the power management module. As key aspect of the Systems engineers role will be to produce and review state diagrams to give an understanding about the possible behaviours of the system and report results back to the team. The systems engineer might also be required to review and write software code in C to support the overall systems design, as required.
The Candidate:
As an experienced systems engineer you should be educated to degree level in a relevant engineering discipline. Ideally you will have a background in designing high level systems architecture, and you will be able to define both component and systems level requirements. Recent experience of using languages such as C would be preferred but candidates with extensive systems experience using similar programming languages will also be considered.
