Software Packages Migration (MSI) - Configuration Manager 2012 Upgrade Project
MSI Packaging Consultant sought for a Configuration Manager 2012 Upgrade Project based in Lund/Sweden. This is a 5 Months contract opportunity with the possibility to extend.It is imperative that the MSI Packaging Consultant is based in Lund/Swedne 100% of the time for the first initial period of the project. Thereafter the consultant has the possibility to work remotely approx. 2 Days per week.
Configuration Manager 2012 Upgrade Project Specification:
- Mainly responsible for software packages migration. Should be able to work independently on migration tasks.
- Upgrade software distribution system to version 2012 globally.
- Migration of ~500 software packages (approx.). 3 people will be involved to migrate packages within of 5 months.
Specific skills required:
- Deep knowledge in the Configuration Manager 2012 application model (SCCM2012).
- Deep knowledge in MSI (Microsoft Software Installer) packaging & the tools related.
- Solid VBScript experience.
- Strong understanding in how to Validate & Migrate software packages.
- Overall experience in Software Management.
- Prior experience in building & migrating software packages is a MUST.
- Strong communication skills required. You will have daily contact with diverse key stakeholders.

Rate: 60 Euros/Hour all incl.
