A leading company with global operations with enviable client base are seeking an Android Developer to help them develop a commercial applications. The Android developer will be responsible for the full development of the application in conjunction with a highly skilled team of engineers. For this Android Developer role you will have:- Extensive experience in native Android development
- Experience developing enterprise applications with Java, J2EE
- Solid Software design and engineering experience and techniques
- Experience in consuming JSON and XML interfaces in Android apps - REST and SOAP
- Experience in a variety of Open Source frameworks used in Android application development
- Experience in PhoneGap (not essential)
- Experience with Continuous Build approaches using tools such as Subversion, Maven and Hudson/Jenkins
- Be committed to design, build and deployment excellence
- Good communications skills
Location is Leeds. Background in Java is essential.
