Tier One Investment Bank based at Canary Wharf has a new and immediate requirement for a Qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) Management Reporting Senior Analyst to work within their Financial Accounting division on a short term assignment.
Overall goal
*Leadership and coordinator for the Global Operations planning and forecasting processes.
*Delivery management and consolidation of accurate forecasts, and other planning deliverables.
*Consolidation, reviewing, analysing and presenting the Global Operations forecasts to functional management.
Essential skills
*Degree and a Professional Accounting Qualification (ACA, CIMA or local equivalent if from overseas)
*Strong Financial Analysis Skills
*Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills required.
*Management Reporting and Financial Planning Skills required.
*Minimum 6 years post qualification accounting experience required.
Key Deliverables
*Ownership and responsibility for the accuracy and coordination of Planning and Monthly Forecasting Global Operations expenses and allocations.
*Maintain responsibility and delivery management of the Consolidated Planning, Reporting and Analsyis, but ensuring timely submissions from controllers.
*Mentor and develop the EMEA and Pune team, to provide improved service delivery, comprehensive analysis, and enhanced reporting, and ensure successful transformation of responsibilities deployed.
*Provision of financial advisory service to Global Operations Management and also other business stakeholders in the Bank to better understand their Global Operations allocations and cost trends.
*Assist with process improvement and re-engineering initiatives.
*Supporting enhancement projects, to improve the information and accuracy of reporting and planning.
