Description
You will be responsible for:
Liaising with and supporting Manufacturing
Liaise with Design team
Ensure manufacturing processes are implemented
Delivering a manufacturing plan
Design feasibility
Layout planning
Process documentation
Key aspects of the role
To produce detailed Final assembly Process sheets including visual aids, tooling detail, quality requirements and safety info.
To evaluate manufacturing feasibility of design proposals from either Engineering CAD/3D models and Engineering Drawings. You will propose changes to designs to improve ergonomics and quality.
Work with Facilities Manager to increase efficiency of station layout ultimately making the manufacturing process more "lean"
You will need to attend planning meetings and provide status updates and feedback.
