I am looking for a Data Control Clerk. This is a 9 month role based in Leeds.
Data Control Clerks carry out multiple tasks within the above processes as determined by their skill level & operational requirements. Hours of work are a mixture of full and part time hours during the day, evening & night. The job descriptions which are within scope of the role are listed below.
General Requirements of the role
- Be ready and available at the beginning of shift to process work.
- Achieve expected level of productivity, agreed with Team Leader.
- Maintain safe working practices (Health & Safety).
- Develop an understanding of all SLA and SLC measures, achieving all that are directly attributable.
- Keep up to date with changes to operating processes and RBSG requirements, as communicated by Team Leaders.
- Attend team communication meetings
- Adhere to the instructions set out in the site Quality Manual (QMS Guides) or as otherwise directed by a Team Leader/Supervisor
- Communicate concerns with Team Leader
- Adhere to work schedule.
- Respect scheduled (lunch) breaks and paid RSI breaks (Max 5 minutes)
- Timely submission of holiday requests.
- Adopt absence notifications according to guidelines.
- Proactively manage your career development, highlighting additional training required.
- Accept and act upon performance related feedback.
- Fully comply with the Dress Code Policy
- Where appropriate and experience allows, under direction of Team Leader; provide support to colleagues on carousel or undertake coaching
Minimum Experience/KPI:
The roles are specific to various aspects of cheque clearing. Training is provided via a combination of an induction course, classroom & on the job training lead by a Team Leader or nominated SME. Ideally, at entry to a VPC or RIC role, candidates should demonstrate a minimum data entry speed of 5000 keystrokes per hour with an error rate of less than 2%. A good standard of written and spoken English and the ability to perform simple mathematical tasks are desirable, and tested as part of the pre screening.
