Entermotion is a creative design and programming studio. We work on a variety of projects for our clients, from identity design to application development. We're a dispersed team, and we're comfortable collaborating remotely.
What's the Job?
We're looking for a PHP web developer with strong skills, and diverse experience. Would like an individual willing to commit 40 hours a week to this project. Contract work would extend through the summer.
Skills.
We know that web developers have different strengths in different areas. Here are some of the categories we would assess candidates based on. Strength in one area can offset weakness in another.
* PHP by hand.
* PHP in libraries.
* Experience working in a team.
* Experience in application development.
* Experience building account controls, billing, etc.
* Knowledge of 3rd party API integration like Amazon AWS, Twilio, Twitter, Facebook, Stripe.
* Due to our specific workload, anyone with experience in healthcare development such as FDA drugs databases, HL7, Nike+, etc. will get bonus points.
* This job primarily focuses on backend development. However if you have specific skills in front end work, -js, css, etc. we want to hear about it.
Position.
This is a remote position. We're used to working as a dispersed team so it's important that you're cool with collaborating mostly online. We're flexible on schedules.
