A Renewable Energy client who is one of leading operators in the Offshore Wind Energy is looking for a Package Manager to oversee the Electrical Works of this offshore windfarm project. The Electrical Package Manager is responsible for the management of the design, tender process, negotiations, manufacturing, delivery, installation, commissioning and handover to operations of all electrical systems, equipment and cables.
He/she is also responsible for the Quality, Budget, Resources, Time scheduling and HSSE.
The Electrical Package Manager reports directly to the Engineering Manager.


Main Responsibilities:

- Management of the Electrical Package Team members and Client`s representatives located on Site.
- Support the responsible Procurement officer in all technical matters
- Coordination and management of the Tender Process and negotiation phase together with the Procurement Officer
- Preparation of interface descriptions
- Preparation of technical contract specifications
- Contract Management of the design, fabrication, transportation, installation and commissioning of the electrical equipment, control systems and cables
- Monitoring, checking and evaluation of contractual issues
- Coordination and implementation of interfaces to wind turbines, foundations, logistics, certification and authorities in cooperation with the Interface Manager
- Scheduling of the Electrical and cabling contracts and all interfaces in coordination with the other Package Managers and the Project Scheduler
- Controlling of contract obligations; Monitoring of deadlines and milestones
- Control of budgets and costs associated with the Electrical and cabling contracts.
- Substantive examination of invoices, claims and their evaluation and authorisation.
- Organisation, preparation and chairing of internal and external project meetings
- Liaison with NGT on all Grid connection and compliance matters
- Co-ordination of the OFTO process and co-operation with the OFTO owner
- Checking and review of drawings and documentation
- Coordination and management of the certification process with the Certification Body.
- Coordination of O&M issues with the O&M Manager
- Coordination of logistic interfaces with the Logistics Manager.
- Supporting the QM manager during preparation and implementation of the quality plan for the Project and Package.
- Organisation of the QC during production, fabrication, transportation, installation and commissioning
- Co-ordination and co-operation with Technical Excellence and other Electrical-related Company standards and initiatives
- Organisation of Peer reviews, technical workshops and input to Gate review process.
- Monthly reporting to Engineering and Project Management
- Liaison and co-ordination with other Offshore project teams to apply synergies, best practice and lessons learnt that will benefit the Project and Company.


Key Skill Requirements:

- High motivation.
- Previous experience of renewable project origination and development preferable - specific offshore experience an advantage.
- Technical educational qualifications in related discipline.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent IT and presentation skills
- Strong team player.
