Are you a WordPress genius? We’re looking for the best talent out there for our next project, and we want to build a long-lasting relationship with you for all our next projects!
We want to build a set of responsive “templates” that can be easily modified with graphics, and easy customizable with widgets and page layouts. We want this theme to be easy to set up with the basic characteristics we’re listing below:
1. Framework: I’m open to use a framework like Thesis or Genesis (there are even free ones like Bones that seem to be very good), but I would like to hear your input on this. Since my idea is to create very simple layouts (they could be considered frameworks), maybe you could create our own with the characteristics we’re looking for.
2. Having a translation-ready theme.
3. Theme options and customization in a user friendly manner. An UI that can let the user pick colors, fonts, and add images (logo, banners).
4. Documentation.
5. Social Media integration. (Facebook Like, Twitter feed)
6. Opt-in: horizontal (under the slider for example), horizontal in between paragraphs of pages or post content, sidebars and footer.
7. Page layouts: one column, one column + sidebar, full screen (landing page type).
8. Video and photo integration.
We understand that there are hundreds of options out there in widgets to make this happen, but we would love to create a template that has been planned and list the widgets that should be installed with it.
We will provide the layout of the pages, they will be home, about, contact, archive, landing page (full page). User should be able to have one, two, three or four column option layout in the homepage and other pages. Our vision is that we can create a widgetized theme, so depending on the layout and the widgets, the options are greater.
