Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:1. Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of a particular field of specialization to the completion of difficult assignments. Beginning to display a more comprehensive knowledge of particular field of specialization.
2. Reports observations/problems clearly and concisely, recognizing and highlighting specific deviations and while presenting possible solutions.
3. Develops system level design strategies and may lead design, development, testing & refinement of components and sub-systems.
4. Development follows Invent It, Make It, Sell It procedures.
5. Usually works with minimum of supervision, conferring with superior on unusual matters. Assist Design Engineers, Sr. Design Engineers and Staff Engineers inside a given project.
6. Under general supervision, plans, conducts and supervises assignments.
7. Reviews progress and evaluates results.
8. Recommends changes in procedures and processes.
9. Assignments are broad in nature, requiring originality and ingenuity.
10. Has appreciable latitude for unreviewed action or decision.
11. Fundamental understanding of IPC and IEC requirements as well as ISO organization related to electrical

QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS in Engineering or related field.
- Requires a minimum of 3-5 years experience.
- Working Applying - Industry Knowledge.
- Developed specialization in hardware/software preferred
- Project management (small to medium size project scope definition, task management, define deliverables) required.
- Orcad, mentor graphic, labview, matlab, mathcad, simulation software, C++ and visual basic preferred.
- Knowledge in embedded system design required
- Understand integration of software and hardware required.
- Competent with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Eagerness to assist internal and external customers.
- Possess high attention to detail and assists others in this endeavor.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
