Project Engineer/Project ManagerWalsall
Circa £35-40,000
This global business specialise in mechanical handling equipment for the offshore oil & gas industry. Amidst ongoing growth they now have an exciting opportunity for a project engineer to join the business and fulfil a number of projects.
You will have full responsibility for the successful delivery of projects, owning the project plan, ensuring the project is completed on time, to budget and to design specification. Amidst this you will manage the customer relationship and negotiate any order amendments. Key to this role you will need to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, promote regular communication and have strong reporting skills.
Key skills required for this position include:
- Engineering degree/HND (Mechanical/hydraulic or electric)
- Minimum 4 years experience in project management/engineering
- Offshore oil & gas experience is ideal but any relevant manufacturing background will be considered.
- Exposure to heavy engineered/fabricated products
- The ability to travel globally as needed.
