Project Overview:
Vendalize is a local search startup looking to build out a mobile web product in phases, starting with this, the Minimum Viable Product. We had to boot our technical co-founder, so we're looking to outsource this first iteration.
We are Pittsburgh (EST) based, but you can work from anywhere. Even our mom's house.
Project Parameters:
- Budget: $5,000, assuming expedient delivery
- Deadline: no later than August 5th
- Resources: client will deliver imagery/wireframes/content; full-time availability to discuss project
Key Deliverables:
- Mobile web format, tested for Android 4.x and iOS 6
- Ability for users to find businesses (waypoints) near their GPS location
- Ability for users to create tags for a waypoint
- Ability for users to discover waypoints by searching user-created tags
- Facebook OAuth-based account signup/login
Stack Preferences (please state your case otherwise):
- PHP or Python
- Mobile & SEO-friendly Javascript framework (i.e. not Angular)
- MySQL database (unless developer prefers NoSQL solution)
- Solr search platform
