A manager at a top investment bank in Midtown, Manhattan is looking for a talented front office support individual to join his FX Support team.I am working with this manager on an exclusive basis and I have placed with him a handful of times before - I will certainly be able to influence the process.
Support experience is a must, but past experience working in a trading and / or FX environment is a big plus.
Technological experience will be a focus for this role - especially with SQL.
This will be a 6+ month contract that has the opportunity to be constantly extended or turn full time - please do not apply unless you are interested in something long term.
The rate will be based on experience.

Responsibilities:
· Support the following FX Applications: Deal Capture/Position Management, Electronic Trading, Algorithmic Proprietary Trading, Autohedging, FX eCommerce,
· FIX API integration work
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and provide detailed and accurate reporting
· Perform system installs, upgrades and configuration, whilst adhering to a rigorous change management process
· Actively monitor systems, as well as performing periodic system checks and tests
· Specifying requirements for bug fixes and system enhancements.
· Development of support tools, particularly those which automate manual checks.
· Delivering formal and ad-hoc training to users.
