Description
The successful candidate will be part of a large Impairments and Forecasting team part of a wider Credit Risk division.As the Senior Impairment and Forecasting Manager you will ensure quality impairment performance reporting and analysis across all of my Client's global Portfolios to support the relevant business function and their needs.
You will also get the opportunity to work closely with the Regulatory reporting team, Credit Strategy Team and the Financial Control team to ensure correct impairment calculation is achieved and reported across the company, as well as working to streamline impairment calculation across the wider cluster credit risk team to ensure consist and accurate reporting.
To qualify for the role the following skills are required:
- knowledge and understanding of IFRS accounting standards
- Previous experience working in an Impairments/ Financial Management/ Forecasting/ Accountancy Role
- Strong Leadership skills - proven track record in looking after a team
- Excellent Commercial Awareness
- Financial Services experience
- Able to adhere to strict governance and control procedures, including both internal (e.g. Group Risk, Internal Audit) and external (e.g. SOX, PwC/external audit) requirements
