Description
One of our clients is currently looking for an experienced C++, Linux Senior Engineer. This will be a lead role and as such you will have between 5-6 years of experience in a commercial environment. Any knowledge of Linux, shared pipes or knowledge of the Kernal would be a significant advantage. For this role we will be looking for engineers who have had prior experience of developing for the Linux platform at an embedded level.Being in a lead development role, it would be nice if you had experience in system design or maybe some architecture, but this is not essential. Any understanding of Hardware would be useful as would any experience with Java or working in an Agile environment using Scrum.
This will be a team leader's role, so there will be an element of mentoring other more junior members of the team. This is a brand new project which will last between 3/4 years so we are looking for committed people who are excited about seeing a project through from start to finish.
