The successful applicant is someone who can work within a small, dedicated team to provide delivery of technical solutions within a tightly controlled environment. They must be process-driven, have excellent analysis skills, and use them to add value and deliver quality, on-time initiatives into production.
A curious nature, willingness to learn and excellent technical skills are essential to understand the inner-workings of multiple vendor-supplied applications. Excellent communication skills are required to build and maintain peer relationships and drive results.

Skills/experience:
- 3 to 5 years experience in development/delivery role, preferably within financial services.
- Experience and deep understanding of a formalised software development life cycle (SDLC), including development, testing and support.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing situations and circumstances - able to embrace change and help to deliver.
- Independent problem solver who owns issues and can source out solutions involving others as required.
- Experience with the ITIL framework.
- Passionate and generous sharer of skills and knowledge with others in the team.
- Able to see the 'bigger picture' and understand how the 'cogs work together'.
Technical knowledge:
Essential
- Software integration skills.
- VBScript
- Windows
- WebSphere MQ, WebSphere Application Server.
- Microsoft SQL Server,
Previous experience in a high volume support role within financial services highly regarded.
