A leading medical device company based in Illinois has a fantastic opportunity for a Software Engineer. The Software Engineer will be involved in working with the Product development and R+D team to meet product requirements. This is a 12 month contract opportunity that is paying $50.00-$55.00 per hour.This cutting-edge medical device company is searching for a Software Engineer to be responsible for the review and analysis of Software and coding. The Engineer will be involved in the following:
- Experience in software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, and software review
- Identification of code metrics, systems risk analysis, and software reliability analysis
- Experience in the medical device space is considered a huge plus given the regulated environment (FDA/ ISO-13485)
- Must have experience in software testing and quality assurance to ensure a robust product offering
The ideal candidate should have the following background:
- Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, M.S. Preferred
- 5 + years experience in Software Engineering
- 2 + years in experience in Medical Device Industry
- Experience with C and C++
