WebSphere Application and Configuration - Contract - Dublin City Centre
You will support automate software compilation, packaging, and deployment processes. You will report to US based managers and will need to be driven to produce innovative, creative solutions.
Role Description;
Builds
- Experience in writing/enhancing ant and maven build/packaging scripts to support Java/J2EE applications.
- Support and troubleshoot build issues.
- Experience in version control system specifically Clearcase which includes but not limited to labeling, creating branches, guiding development team in case of issues.
- Experience in automating end to end build and deployments using build Forge.
- Experience in CruiseControl
Deployments/WebSphere
- Hands on experience with configuring WebSphere environment (WS 6 and WS 7) to set up clusters, resources, deploying applications, installing Fix Packs.
- Support and troubleshoot WebSphere environment issues .
- Writing deployment scripts for WS environment, scripts for making any kind WebSphere configuration changes, installations of patches, etc .
- Experience with I-planet WebServer, support and troubleshoot.
Key Technologies:
WebSphere, Ant, Maven, Unix, Shell Scripting, Python/Jacl Scripting, BuildForge, CruiseControl, WebServer.
