A leading Medical Device company is in need of an Electrical Engineer to assist with the update of existing product lines. The company, located in Minnesota, is focused on developing innovative technologies to increase patient care.** This is a 9 month contract opportunity with the possibility of extension **
The Electrical Engineer will have the following responsibilities:
- Perform electrical updates to existing product lines
- Make changes to design documentation and schematics, test protocol updates and creation and test execution
- Work with design engineers, supplier engineers and regulatory groups
- Design, build, and validate test systems for in-home devices

The Electrical Engineer must meet the following requirements:
- B.S. Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years experience with electrical medical devices
- Experience with EMI/EMC/Safety standards-based testing
- Ability to design and execute plans
- Strong communicator
- Team oriented
