My client are a market leading engineering company specialising on the design and manufacture of equipment of the oil & gas and mining industry.Having recently moved to a brand new site based in West Yorkshire they are now seeking to recruit an excellent Engineering Manager to spearhead new product development within the company.
The role will entail:
- Develop Strategic direction for the business with respect to Product Management and Development. Ensuring the strategy delivers Corporate and local management targets.
- Have strategic input into the collation of Market Intelligence by geographic region / continent and market sector. Conduct SWOT analysis on competitors and products.
- Provide Design Engineering input to the Senior Management team, specifically relating to current and future technologies within the industry.
- In support of the NPPD process conduct regular Engineering reviews with Sales, Manufacturing, Production Engineering, Quality and Metallurgy
- Manage the day to day supervision of the Engineering department, time and attendance, performance. Through TTMS set personal objectives and targets, training and development activities monitoring throughout the year
