Description
Urgently seeking an Administrator to work within the Field Operations Department of a Telecommunications Vendor.
Open positions within Coventry (Midlands), Guildford (Surrey) and Hamilton (Scotland)
Responsibilities:
- Daily co-ordination with Department Managers
- Taking minutes of meetings
- Assisting with the coordination of travel arrangements within the department
- Organization of documentation and records
- Supports on-boarding and off-boarding activities for personnel in local and remote offices including processing of desk/space moves, Gordon orders for equipment, ID badges, building access, required applications, etc.
- Updating any relevant databases
- Maintaining equipment records
- Assistance with Health & Safety Reports
- Event planning which may include organizing customer dinners/events, rooming arrangements, meeting spaces and AV equipment, conference calls, catering
- Handles general office management or administrative issues & procedures that may include: answering mail, phone calls and inquiries on own initiative, routing correspondence to the appropriate person if necessary, maintaining and ordering/receipt of office supplies and office resources, locating & reserving conference rooms.
- Provide support for other Field Operations administrators during periods of annual leave and absence.
- Assistance with the compilation of department reports.
- Contributions to and where applicable, administration of relevant meetings.
- Assist cost centre owners with purchasing
- Security administration eg id cards, access rights.
- All other ad hoc duties as required
