We at FutureLearn (http://futurelearn.com), are looking for experienced Ruby developers, to help us build an engaging and innovative education experience online.
This is a challenging and ambitious green field project which will provide plenty of interesting challenges to take on. We'll offer you the opportunity to work a small but talented agile team who will support your ongoing development, and expect you to give input on all aspects of the site, the architecture and development process.
This will initially be a 12 month contract.
You
You're interested in online learning. You enjoy programming and have several years experience programming in Ruby under your belt and probably some experience in other languages.
You enjoy learning from and mentoring other members of the team.
You're excited by the challenges of building scalable systems and developing delightful web experiences and have the technical chops and know-how to make it happen.
Salary:
40-75k depending on experience
