Description
I am currently looking for a Storage Engineer/Architect, for a client in Brussels.
Duration: 6 months, with extension possibilities
Location: Brussels, Belgium.
Required skills:
1. Technical skills
Expert in Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM)
Vast experience in configuring and maintaining TSM Servers in an Enterprise environment
Advanced skills in IBM's Enterprise Storage Subsystems
Experience with setting up and configuring DS8000, DS6000, DS and SAN Volume Controller (SVC)
Good knowledge in LUN assignments, LUN mapping and masking
SAN expert (Brocade 48000, DCX)
Experience with multi site resilient SAN fabrics in an Enterprise environment, preferably with Brocade products
good knowledge about SAN design principles
Experience in program languages: Kornshell, Perl, Bash,
Knowledge about AIX (network, LVM skills,)
2. Other skills

Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to assess risks and criticality of issues to appropriately prioritize activities
Act as senior expert and drives improvements cross accounts
Good teaming and communication skills
Fluent in English, both writing and speaking. Good knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus.
Resistance to operational pressure
Ability to respect procedures, to review and propose improvements
Flexible and willing to perform planned interventions outside the official working hours
