Compliance Manager - Banking - General Insurance - Regulatory change - risk manager
A leading Retail Bank based in Newport is seeking a Compliance Manager to work on a complex project, which offers the opportunity to work with senior level professionals in a highly respected organisation.
The purpose of the project is to rebrand on all customer facing documents and footers. The role will vary and principally assist in reviewing internal and external documents to ensure that they have the correct regulatory disclosures and guiding the project on the regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities will include:
- To assist GI Risk in approving the high volume of documents requiring Compliance oversight and approval.
- Supporting the GI Regulatory Risk team is backfilling their roles when required.
To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following skills within financial services (ideally retail banking):
- Compliance experience in an FSA regulated firm, preferably with a General Insurance background,
- detailed working knowledge of the UK Financial Services Sector in particular the regulatory regime,
- Strong attention to detail,
- An effective communicator,
- IT proficient with working knowledge of windows word, excel, PowerPoint, outlook,
- Financial Promotions approvals experience.
As well as proven experience on a large scale programme within a banking environment.
This is a business change role not a technical/IT position.
