Description
We are seeking a Windows Server Engineer for our client in Detroit, MI.
This Windows Server Engineer will be a member of the IT Technical Services team and provide enterprise-wide operations support for the Windows server infrastructure. Job duties will include: Provide operational support for Windows server infrastructure projects. This includes but is not limited to: Server hardware, virtualization, provisioning, DR activities, and deployment automation including orchestration. Windows Server system administration, configuration, and patch updates Windows server OS problem resolution and change management Windows server performance monitoring Windows virtual OS builds and template creation and deployment Familiarity with SAN Scripting and automation skills ( powershell and windows Scripting) Using group Policy to manage and secure Server Environments. Experience in implementing and supporting complex Windows Server environments. Knowledge in all aspects of data center management with a large focus on Automation. Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of Windows Server experience with Active Directory group policy management
- Powershell and windows Scripting
- Familiarity with SAN desired
- MCSE certification preferred
