Our Client is leading Financial Service provider looking for a QA Lead to join the team on a contract basis.
Job/Role
The successful applicant will join the team and work closely with both management and development team to deliver the major releases planned over the next few months.
Qualifications/Expertise
- At least 5 years' experience in a QA Role.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field required.
- Extensive software testing background through extended quality assurance experience.
- Previous experience of leading/coordinating work within a team
- Experience of working with virtual/distributed teams
- Solid understanding and background in Agile Methodology.
- Solid understanding of the software development process including analysis, design, coding, system and user testing, problem resolution and planning.
- Diagnostic and analytical skills.
- Competency in relevant development and coding environments, languages, tools and platforms (SQL, Unix).
- Proven Senior Quality Assurance experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven leadership and interpersonal skills with a strong interest in quality assurance.
- Excellent documentation production.
- Quick learner, Customer Focused, Team Player, takes the initiative, flexible, can work independently.
- Strong process definition skills.
- Experience or knowledge of the financial services industry is ideal
