Description
Responsibilities:- Perform research and analysis of data (i.e. customer design proposals, drawings, natural gas industry codes, etc.) to determine feasibility of design or application of equipment
- Develop ASME code & lifting lug calculations
- Ensure project engineering work is completed accurately and on time
- Lead interaction with customer on all project issues, including commercial & technical aspects to include planning and scheduling
- Size piping, valves, and controls
- Develop process equipment vessel, tank, and package designs for fabrication
- Prepare and maintain project schedules
- Coordinate all aspects of customer change during fabrication by evaluating effect of change
- Attend weekly production meetings to give updates to the project schedules
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent degree)
- 5 - 10 years of experience with oil & gas process equipment sizing, design, & ASME code
- Strong communication skills
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Auto Cad, Microsoft Project)
- Ability to work with multiple work groups and in a team-oriented environment
- Working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental management system standards
- Legally authorized to work in theUnited Stateswithout a work-sponsored Visa
