Based in Hampshire, our client is currently seeking a Contract Network Test Engineer to join with immediate effect on a 4 month initial contract. As a global market leader in software technology, the client is seeking an experienced Test Engineer with expertise in the areas of 3G (UMTS), WCDMA, LTE technology to be responsible for verifying Modem software protocols and characterizing performance as well as trouble shooting, test and offering on going support for customers.

Key requirements:
Strong understanding of 3G and LTE technology
Experience with on site test support
WCDMA
GSM, GPRS, EDGE
Programming in C, Perl, shell scripting is desirable
Proven understanding of software development and testing concepts for wireless handsets
Handset test experience - exposure to commercial test simulators
