- Reports to LineManager
- Supervises service operations personnel, assigns crews and equipment to jobs
- Organizes and directs the service operations
- Ensures job quality control by scheduling appropriate personnel, equipment, resources, reviewing technical aspects of job, and assuring job is done per customer orders and Company policy
- Prepares and/or audits reports of labor and equipment hours utilized, general expenses incurred, field services provided, and loans of equipment and personnel
- Assures the cleanliness and state of repair of service equipment
- Should be able to perform manual tasks required such as loading heads, dropping plugs, hooking up hoses and iron, familiar with drilling operations and drilling rigs to be able to complete required tasks unassisted
- Making recommendations with regard to pumping options, equipment requirements, job design and execution; calculate related job parameters, including pressures required, materials, equipment demand and capability
- Follows up with customers regarding job related problems or concerns
- Addresses employee disciplinary issues and monitors field employee performance
- Requires frequent travel, with overnight travel to be expected
- Field Operations position, on call 24 hours per day
- Ensure that new hire orientation is completed as required and all drivers meet Pressure Pumping/DOT requirements
- Responsible for the safe operations of work and tasked with compliance of company standards (in both safety and operations policy) and cost controls at the well site
- This is field role, working in the dirt/rig sites and wearing PPE/HSE attire
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- High School diploma or equivalent & Bachelor's degree or minimum 2 year technical associate degree
- 5+ years' experience in Operations/Supervisory role at a district level
- Must have intermediate to advanced computer skills to include Excel & SAP
- Cementing/Stimulation Courses pertaining to product knowledge, equipment operations knowledge, and hands on training and expertise in specific disciplines an asset
- Comprehensive understanding of product line(s)/service(s) in an operational area or district
- Position requires courses pertaining to Product knowledge, Equipment operations knowledge, and hands on training and expertise in appropriate discipline
- Previous experience as a Service Supervisor in Oil & Gas Industry
- Comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and market conditions
- Basic knowledge of company's business practices including strategic planning, budgeting, staffing, Health Safety and Environmental (HS&E) and compliance
- Ability to direct and manage people
- Interpersonal, leadership and organizational skills
- Problem solving capabilities
- Team player, Strong multi-tasker
