Project Manager- Risk -Halifax
A leading UK Retail Bank requires a Project Manager with a background in Risk to join a project based in Halifax.
You will assist the Management team in Model Governance to set up the procedures necessary to co-ordinate activity and returns to comply with regulatory and Risk regulations.
Key deliverables will include:
- Establish and manage robust process that allows for the collation of returns from across the Group
- Ensure delivery of supporting rating data for each of the 40 rating systems
- Ensure production of CRR gap compliance plan for delivery to the PRA
- Co-ordinate the delivery of a complementary data exercise requested by the PRA to assess the impact of capital floors.
- Take responsibility for the deadlines for submission and pro-actively work with business areas to ensure deadlines are met
- Prepare MI and progress reports of sufficient quality
The following key skills and experience are required:
- Previous experience of working in financial services or other highly regulated environments
- Knowledge of banking regulation
- Previous experience of working in the Risk Modelling environment
- Excel/Powerpoint skills
- A formal project qualification: Prince, MSP or equivalent
- Experience of preparing reports for senior stakeholders
