Finance Manager/Finance Lead : Aviation : World Leading Oil and Gas Co.
World Leading Global Energy Oil Company has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager/Finance Lead with a Chartered Accountancy Qualification to work in the Aviation team of this FTSE 100 company. As the custodian of shareholder value, your role will be to be the finance advisor and challenger to the Aviation business, working in a leading role to understand and manage external influences on performance.
As such, you will be the face of Finance to the business for finance owned processes and the linking between the finance back offices and the business with lots of MI reporting and other financial information statistics and metrics evaluation.
This is a global role where you will need to build strong relationships in the virtual Finance community (Global Commercial Finance, MI, Aviation Back Office, Offer to Cash, Controllers) to ensure delivery of excellent advice and support on all financial matters. In addition to this, a Competitive Position Study for the UK has been completed in Q1 2013 and continued tracking and reporting progress against the agreed Plan will be a focus area for you acting as the Cluster Finance Manager across the UK and in the Nordics region.
You need:
- Qualified Accountant or similar relevant degree
- Broad knowledge of Finance processes within a corporate environment
- Previous experience gained within an Oil & Gas business will be helpful
- Ability to challenge and to be a partner to the business
- Experience in working with remote/virtual teams
