Software Development Team Lead
6 Month Contract - Cork (Ireland) - £pd
A leading brand within the IT Security domain would like to hire a Software Development Team Lead to work alongside the Development Manager on a high profile Cloud Computing roll-out project.
Based in Cork, Ireland, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a talented Cloud Computing Software Development Team working on the next generation of IT Security innovation for internal use and external customers.
You will be a hands-on team leader within a Software Development team and have experience working with Cloud Engineering, high-end web services, and C++/C skills in Unix environments.
Key Skills:
-Ability to lead a Software Development and Test Team (hands-on leadership)
-Strong C++/C development skills
-Confident working within a Unix environment and Linux application development
-Experienced in developing multi-threaded, high availability, events-based systems
-Strong networking experience - IP, TCP, HTTP
-Assist the Development Manager with project planning, progress and delivery tasks
-Ability to mentor/coach less experienced developers and keep team morale/motivation high
-Experience within Cloud based development for large customer environments would be extremely advantageous, as would experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, Python, automation
-Experienced working within agile development teams would be advantageous
