Cadis Analyst/Developer - Investment Banking - London
Our client a world leading Investment Bank based in London are currently looking to recruit a Cadis Analyst/developer
The successful candidate will perform an analyst/developer role within a busy team. They will be expected to analyse issues and new requirements from the business or support teams to come up with solutions that meet their requirements, adhere to best practices and that are optimised for performance. The job requires participation in the full software development life cycle - including root cause analysis, production of specifications, some Cadis development and supporting testing.
Responsible for:
- Production of functional & technical design specifications to the Data Integration team for approval prior to any required development.
- Occasional Cadis development ensuring adherence to Build Team governance processes and coding standards.
- Provide consultancy to the Data Integration and Project teams to act as SME on Cadis and market/business data subjects.
- Liaison with the business (Data Management Team) on data queries.
Some 3rd line support and resolution of data issues/queries in the production and UAT environments.
Key skills
- Educated to Degree level or equivalent (relevant) work experience
- Must have strong SQL development skills, capable of optimising queries and resolving complex code
- Extensive technical experience of Markit EDM (Cadis) development - at least 3 years using versions 7.6 and above, with adherence to Cadis Best Practice guidelines.
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of Asset Management and specifically Data Management.
- Strong business analysis skills, data analysis, requirements capture, ability to produce functional and technical documents, prepare test cases and acceptance criteria, support UAT.
- Good knowledge and understanding of Bloomberg and Rimes data feeds.
- Confident of working in a complex environment where there are numerous concurrent projects at any one time.
- Able to provide 3rd line support, if required
