Location: Farnborough easily commutable from Ash Vale, Frimley, Aldershot and with excellent access from Guildford
Salary: Negotiable hourly rate
Outsource UK Ltd is actively seeking to recruit a Senior Engineer - Design Proving for a contract role on behalf of a client.
The Client: A leading Engineering and Defence organisation
The Job:
The successful candidate for Senior Engineer- Design Proving will need to work well in a multi- discipline environment and be pro-active in taking responsibility and seeking out all required supporting information. Not all of the work carried out will be as part of a team and thereforethe candidate will need the personal resourcefulness and desire to develop and widen capability.
Seeking to recruit a Senior Engineer - Design Proving with:
- Experience of Open Systems Standards
- Knowledge of Interface Standards (ie: RS 422, RS 485, 1553 databus)
- Experience of working within a systems engineering environment and knowledge of how systems are
- configured and designed
- Experience of report writing and Test specification production
- Understanding of configuration control processes
- Experience in the use of a variety of test equipment including: Oscilloscopes Signal Generators RS 422
- Analyser, Data Bus Analyser, network test equipment
- Ideally have knowledge of drawing production using Word, CAD or Visio - although this is not essential
- Ideally educated to at least HNC level in Electronic Engineering or equivalent working experience
