Description
C#/WPF/Software Engineer/Oil and GasMy client, a leading manufacturer of instruments for the oil and gas sector, are looking for a Software Engineer on a 6 month contract, with a possible renewal afterwards.
They are looking to interview in the next few days, and for an immediate start, as the post is critical to the business. They are looking for the following skills -
- Experience in C# and WPF
- Experience of UI creation with WPF
- Full software lifecycle experience
- Experience of working on the coding of a tangable physical product essential
- Experience of Automotive/Aerospace/Defence/Oil and Gas software development very advantagous
- Experience of working with instrumention desirable
- Industry communication protocal experience desirable
- Unit testing experience desirable
- Embedded software knowledge desirable
- Experience of working in a multi disciplinary team
You will be working on a sub seas level product, developing the communication interface and UI for this. You will be working alongside engineers and physicists, hence the need for the ability to work in a multi disciplined team.
They're offering £25-£30 an hour, and an immediate start.
