Moby is an interactive agency located in Seattle. We're a close-knit group of designers and engineers who pride ourselves on bringing out the best in everything we touch. We specialize in digital experiences for web and mobile, serving clients large and small.
Overview:
This is a contract position for approximately six weeks, with the possibility to hire.
We have an immediate need for an experienced Rails engineer who is skilled in web application architecture and API development for a new project.
Responsibilities include development of a custom CMS, mobile application APIs, front-end integration, and light database design. Front-end skills a plus, but not required.
Qualifications:
• Experience working in Ruby 1.9.x, Rails 3, MySQL
• Familiar with CMS systems and patterns
• Ability to work on site (Fremont)
Bonus Points:
• Front-end - SCSS, HTML5, JavaScript
• Mobile platforms - iOS / Android
• Server-side - PHP, AWS
