Safety Case Engineer12 Month Contract
I am currently recruiting for a number of Safety Case Engineer positions for long term contract positions in the North of the UK.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safety case advise during the design, operation and decommissioning of nuclear facilities and for the production of all nuclear safety documentation as part of the Site License Conditions. Some examples of documentation would be:
- Hazard studies e.g. HAZOP, FMEA etc
- Safety case preparation e.g. EC, PMP, PSR, PCSR etc.
Experience/Knowledge required:
- Multiple years experience working the Nuclear industry (would consider experience in similar sectors)
- Working knowledge of 3D-CAD packages i.e. solidworks/inventor
Accountabilities:
- Responsible for ensuring technical accuracy and delivering of design projects satisfying time, quality and costs to the standards set by the engineering department
- Liaise with C&I, safety and analysis personnel to optimise solutions.
- Ensuring allocated staff fully satisfy their accountabilities.
