World leading asset management company require a technician to support the use of the Quasar V5.0 asset management system. This exciting contract position is available on the basis of a six month contract, is based in central London and will include some on-call and weekend cover to provide consistent end-user system availability. Key Responsibilities of Quasar Support Technician: -Take ownership, investigate and resolve errors to ensure system availability- Provide solutions to bespoke software faults (coding, writing and testing)- Assist end-users, IT and development support staff Key Technical Skills of Quasar Support Technician: - Comprehensive knowledge of Quasar V5.0- Competent user of InterSystems Cache 5.0, 5.2 and 2010- Knowledge of SQL, Unix scripting, Open VMS DCL and HTML Key Business Skills of Quasar Support Technician: - Sound knowledge of asset management and fund administration- Knowledge of different systems and companies that support the asset management industry To discuss this role in further detail please reply with an up to date copy of your CV.
