Description
Overview:
- We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Systems Administrator with knowledge of server hardware, operating system and application installation. This individual should have experience with server builds, equipment racking, cabling, documentation and installing applications.
- The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate technical experience with Microsoft Operating Systems, troubleshooting and have the ability to work with limited supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Assist team members with TSM Backup Network rollout. This will involve documentation, NIC card installations and cabling.
- Assist team with server build documentation which will include inventory diagrams.
- Assist team with IP Change for New Network project, which will include connectivity testing and working with application groups.
- Verify and label all server cables in both data centers, which will include port discovery.
- Assist team lead documenting and organizing quarterly security updates.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience analysing and testing of Microsoft Windows in a large scale enterprise environment.
- Experience performing day-to-day administrative functions with a Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange structure including account additions, deletions and modifications.
- Extensive working knowledge of HP and IBM server hardware.
