Description
We are currently looking for a Web Developer to join a local Government Agency on a long term contract.
You will be an integral part of the team an be responsible for developing and maintaining their Intranet and their Internet site, related to search engines and web applications.
You will be responsible for liaising with the client to better understand their goals and gather requirements for the websites and also provide web design advice, provide support, trouble shoot and work with the Team Leader to provide solutions to complex web development issues.
Key Experience
- Demonstrate experience in developing Intranet and Internet websites
- Experience using web developer tool skills including the use of Adobe Dreamweaver,
- Fireworks/Photoshop and MySource Matrix Content Management System administration
- Strong experience in hand-coding HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Experience working in customer service focus position
- Strong experience in designing websites and a strong understanding of principles of best practice in WCAG 2.0 compliance, accessibility, navigation and usability
- Demonstrated ability to work on several projects simultaneously, manage time
- Possess highly developed oral and written communication skills
