Description
Hyphen have a fantastic opportunity to work for a large Insurance client of ours in Norwich as a Senior Finance Manager on a 6 month contract.
The successful candidate will ideally have a recognised accounting qualification and will be able to deal with high level Senior Stakeholders.
Duties:
- Manage the development of key Finance Business Partnering processes
- Developing an understanding to provide insight and challenge to Functions as an independent support. - As required, provide direct finance support to functions with their Plans and with their reporting through regular financial and management reporting, stakeholder meetings to review expenditure and forecasts
- Supporting monthly accounts production and ad hoc management information production, linking to wider Finance reporting and governance requirements
- Help shape and influence the development of a business partnering operating model, including the sharing of best practice with other Business Partners.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Strong relationship management and accounting skills together ideally with sound project life cycle knowledge and experience
- Proactive Stakeholder management skills
- Ability to influence Senior Management and build and maintain relationships
- Highly numerate and good commercial knowledge/awareness
- Ability to undertake process reengineering ensuring control standards are met
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Prioritisation capabilities against concurrent deadlines
- Relationship Management, Business Partnering, Planning and customer facing experience
- Experience of operating in a Matrix environment and across multi-functions and multiple business units
