Description

An HR Business partner/consultant is needed to guide a business through the acquisition of a "small business". The business in question employs 150 staff and is worth around £20 million.

There will be two phases to the project, initially Due Diligence from the HR perspective and then the integration of the business into the wider group.

HR within the parent company is significant but very busy, hence the need for some external support.
Specific experience that will enable the successful candidate to deliver include TUPE (in), HR within an acquisition, Communication of change from an HR position and Organisation Design/development.

Also experience within the Industrial sectors will be a great advantage, including Utilities, Rail and Construction.

Following the Due Diligence phase the work will focus on the structure and integration of the business, enabling the parent company to fully integrate the new business for the start of the next financial year.

The wider bushiness is not experienced in merging and aquireing so there may be some resistance and politics to work through.

A great opportunity to effect real change and to determine the success of the acquisition.
